Just like JANJA HILL, this red bourbon went through the MUZO station, but this time with a natural drying process.
Another partnership with Semilla Coffee that confirms why we love working with this importer so much. The transparency with which they operate shows a level of care and goodwill that is truly exceptional in our industry.
The MUZO station is owned by Emmanuel Rusatira, founder of BAHO COFFEE, a Rwandan company that operates six washing stations across the country.
Here are a few words from Emmanuel about the goal of the GIKO HILL group:
« Since these are new groups that are being formed around our coffee washing stations, based on what we think might be potential or unique in the zone, we want to make this model mutual benefit where farmers commit to what we are training them, commit to long and honest/loyal relationship with Baho and of course by focusing on both coffee quality and quantity, then at the other side, Baho have responsibility of developing them, buying their cherries, marketing their coffee with full traceability and at the end, paying the highest possible price that will make them motivated and happy to grow coffee. We strongly believe that our strength is based on the happy farmers that we work with. »
This coffee is delightfully fruity and ranks among the best natural processes we have roasted, nothing less.
