JUICE TOWN (Colombia)
Tasting notes : ALMOND PASTE, BERRIES AND MAPLE SYRUP
Here, we love the espressos which are round, but capable of bringing out a hint of fruit on the finish. This is where the concept of JUICE TOWN started, a seasonal café, still of Colombian origin. One of Daniel's favorite origins for many reasons, but especially for the versatility that his strains bring. You can make a tasty latte as well as a fruity and complex filter, without changing the roasting profile.
Seasonal coffee still means lasting relationships. We work with a few different importers, but our primary goal remains the same: to convey a story above all and develop relationships that will go far.
FORWARD COFFEE
Cole Torode does things differently. He is a young, dynamic western Canadian importer and his vision goes beyond the coffee itself. It is not a simple intermediary between roasters and producers. He works every day to advance the entire industry, not just his company. We have several projects for the future of KOHI with him, including the import of different exceptional lots for our next COUP DE VENT. To be continued…
GARDENS OF EDEN
This coffee from the Quindio region in Colombia is the fruit of the work of Felipe and Carlos Arcila. The two brothers bought this farm in order to experiment and find new methods to improve the quality of their crops.
Here we have Castillo, but on their farm there are several varieties, such as Gesha, Sudan Rume, SL-28, Wush Wush, Laurina and more. They are located on one of the highest points in the region, at nearly 2000 meters above sea level.
